Why have a personal integrity policy?

MYoroface AB (“we”, “us”, the Company” and “MYoroface”) care about your personal integrity. Therefore we strive at all times to protect your personal information in the best way possible and to follow all applicable rules and laws concerning data protection. As part of this personal integrity policy we want to inform you how we handle your personal information.

This policy applies to all information collected via www.iqoro.com (“Website”) or via the telephone when placing an order. This policy applies both for those that order on their own behalf as individuals and for those that purchase on behalf of an authority, regional health authority, company or an organisation (“Organisation”).

We record details of your name, address, telephone number, and email address in order to administrate your purchase and in order to fulfil our responsibilities to you as a customer. If you gave us your telephone number in order that we could send SMS messages regarding your delivery, we record this data for this reason. If you are purchasing on behalf of an Organisation then the legal grounds for our treatment of your data is that this is necessary in order for us to fulfil our responsibilities regarding your purchase from us. If you are purchasing as a private individual then the legal grounds for our treatment of your data is the specific permission that you gave us at the time of your purchase. If we do not get access to your personal information it will not be possible for us to fulfil your purchase on the Website and fulfil our responsibilities to you in the purchase agreement.

If you are purchasing as a private individual and choose to order via the telephone then we may also use other information in order to make a credit check on you and allow you to pay on invoice. The legal grounds for our treatment of your data is the specific permission that you gave us at the time of your purchase. If we did not collect this background personal data about you it would not be possible to accept your order by telephone since our only payment alternative for orders placed in this way is by invoice and we must therefore be sure that we know who you are in order to verify your credit-worthiness. If you do not want to give us any further information when asked you have the alternative of purchasing via the Company’s website and choosing another payment alternative from there.

Marketing reasons

We would very much like those who have purchased from us to continue to have access to the latest information from us including the latest research and possible future help and support. If we have your permission for this we will store your name and email address to allow us to send newsletters and other communications. Legal obligations

We store information on what product you purchased from us in order to fulfil our legal responsibilities regarding traceability of products under the relevant laws and regulations regarding the supply of medical technical product. Who can have access to your personal information?

Primarily it is only MYoroface that has access to your data. We may share your data with our chosen partners and suppliers according to the following reasons:

  • We may share your contact details with the transport company responsible for the delivery so that the product you have bought can be delivered to you.
  • We may share your name and details of your financial status with our payment partner, credit agency or debt collection agency in order to facilitate your choice of payment method and debt collection.
  • We may share your personal information with our internal IT staff or external IT partners but only to the extent necessary for them to fulfil their responsibilities to you in relation to MYoroface.

The personal information that third parties can have access to according to the above reasons is used only for the purposes of your relationship with MYoroface and in accordance with this personal integrity policy. In addition to the above your details are shared with Klarna if you have chosen to purchase via them. Klarna are independently responsible to you for the safety and usage of your personal information. We and our partners handle your personal information within the EEA and the UK.

How long do we store your personal information?

Apart from in the exceptions listed below your information is not stored for longer than it is needed for the purposes of administering your purchase and fulfilling our responsibilities to you regarding your purchase. Usually this is until the goods have been delivered and paid for.

For accounting purposes we store details of your purchase for seven years as required by the relevant laws.

In order to meet our legal responsibilities regarding the traceability of the supply of a medical technical product we store your details as stipulated by these laws and regulations.

If you have given your specific permission for us to store your personal information for marketing purposes, we will continue to do so until you unsubscribe from this service or withdraw your permission.

Your personal information may be stored by us for a longer period than those shown above to the extent that the Company is forced to do so by a law or an instruction from an appropriate body.

Can you affect our treatment of your personal information?

You have the right at any time to recall some or all of any permissions that you have given us regarding our handling of your personal information. Such recall will not however apply retrospectively for the period until when your recall was made. You also have the right at any time to object to our use of your personal data for marketing purposes.

According to the appropriate data protection laws you have the right to have access to information regarding what personal information we store about you and the right to request corrections of any data which is incorrect.

Under certain circumstances you may also have the right to request us to erase the data that we hold about you, or to restrict its use, or to complain about the way that we have handled it. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish “Datainspektionen” (Data inspection) or other authorised regulatory authority with the remit to monitor the companies handling of customers’ personal information.

Under certain circumstances you may also have the right to request us to export the personal information that we have stored about you in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to send these details to another body responsible for personal information.
