How to use IQoro

On this page we explain how to train with IQoro.

Using IQoro is easy. By pulling outwards and holding back with the lips, nerve pathways are stimulated and a total of 148 muscles are activated – from the mouth and lips, down to the upper part of the stomach.

Training can be carried out wherever you are, and takes a total of 30 seconds per training session.

This is how to train in 30 seconds

Five tips for training with IQoro

Avoid creating a vacuum in the mouth

Avoid swallowing to create a vacuum in the mouth. Creating a vacuum makes your muscles work less, since the vacuum is pulling IQoro inwards instead. This results in a poorer effect. Instead, squeeze and tighten your lips, allowing them to create the resistance as you pull the device outwards.

Your tongue ends up in the right place automatically

Your tongue will automatically end up in the right place when you pull IQoro outwards. Your body’s reflexes take care of this automatically.

The tip of your tongue should end up behind the front teeth in the lower jaw and become hard and tense. However, if the muscles in your mouth are very weak, it may take a few weeks or months of training before your tongue ends up in the right place. This is nothing to worry about.

Shape your mouth as if smiling

Shape your mouth as if smiling and close your lips around IQoro. Your lips should be tight against the shaft that you are holding. Your teeth should not be visible. Avoid pursing your lips as this gives a poorer effect.

Avoid clenching your teeth

Avoid clenching your teeth when training with IQoro.

Your teeth can either touch each other during exercise, or there may be a small gap between the teeth in the upper and lower jaw. This may differ because our mouths look slightly different.

The important thing is that you relax the jaw while tensing your lips.

Hold your breath when training with IQoro

Hold your breath for ten seconds while pulling IQoro outwards. If you can’t hold your breath for ten seconds, hold it for as long as you can.

To do this:

  1. Place IQoro on the inside of your lips.
  2. Take a regular breath.
  3. Hold your breath for ten seconds while pulling IQoro outwards.
  4. Relax your lips, exhale, and then take another breath before pulling outwards again. The pause should last three seconds.
