Clear your throat – clear your mind
There are countless reasons to feel anxious, don’t let the lump feeling in your throat be one of them.
IQoro supports Mental Health Awareness Month
During May we want to raise awareness and break the stigma surrounding mental health issues. We are proud to recognize and support Mental Health Awareness Month.
What is Mental Health Awareness Month?
Mental health is wealth, especially during Mental Health Awareness Month, which is celebrated in May.
The stigma around mental health and treatment has long existed, even though this has started to change. Still, people hesitate to seek help or even talk about it with their loved ones for fear of being judged and facing unnecessary backlash.
Simple logic dictates that if we are hurt anywhere, we must seek treatment to get better. This applies to both our mental- and physical well-being.
We strive for a better quality of life
We meet a lot of people who have been fighting for a long time to get the right treatment for their condition.
When a person finally gets the help that they need with IQoro, then not only the physical symptoms improve but a lot of anxiety and distress disappears too. These patients’ stories make us proud when we hear that IQoro has not only helped physically but also mentally.
We support Mental Health Awareness Month because we constantly strive to help people achieve a better quality of life both physically and mentally.
Not all symptoms are visible
Have you had a feeling of a lump in your throat? A sensation of ‘thickness’ or a feeling that food will get stuck? Then you know that this can cause a lot of anxiety and distress.
Those of you who are affected should be listened to and taken seriously.
Too many are told that they are imagining a problem that doesn’t really exist. But just because a symptom is not visible and is difficult to diagnose accurately doesn’t mean that the problem is not there and that it can cause you a lot of worry and discomfort.
“For the first time, someone was listening to me”
Malin was referred to several specialist doctors, but none could explain what she suffered from. Today she is symptom-free thanks to IQoro. Hear her story.
