Pia stopped being short of breath
“I’ve had problems with shortness of breath for years. It became such a problem that I avoided climbing stairs unnecessarily,” says Pia.
At home, it was a problem because the house had two floors. She had contacted doctors and had many examinations to see if it could be due to asthma or heart problems, but the tests showed nothing.
Able to take less acid-suppressing medication
“I saw advertisements for IQoro on Facebook and looked into it. Among other things, I discovered that my problems could be due to a hernia on the gastroesophageal junction. IQoro would hopefully help with that,” she explains.
In January, I started scaling back omeprazole to using it every other day.”
She got an IQoro and started training in August. Pia had long been taking acid-suppressing medication for her acid reflux – something she wanted to stop doing.
“In January, I started scaling back omeprazole to using it every other day. I occasionally needed to take Novalucol for acid reflux. But it wasn’t as extreme as before I started training,” she adds.
After nine months of training with IQoro, Pia has been able to reduce her medication to every three days, and acid reflux has become uncommon.
It is much easier to climb stairs
The biggest reason Pia wanted to try IQoro was her shortness of breath. And the training really paid off.
I can walk further uphill without getting short of breath than I could before.
“It’s become much better. I can walk further uphill without getting short of breath than I could before. And even if I get out of breath, I recover much more quickly.”
After training three times a day for about ten months, she has been able to transition to maintenance training.
– I trained three times a day from August to the end of May. I then started training in the mornings and evenings and that seems to be sufficient. But if I notice a deterioration, I simply train in the middle of the day as well.
Training with IQoro has become a routine
During the months that have passed, training with IQoro has become a natural part of everyday life, and Pia has no plans to stop.
“Training has become a habit. So I’m not going to stop. After all, muscles need training. I’m so glad it works with such a simple exercise,” she concludes.
“5 months in and seeing some major improvements. I was off the proton pump inhibitors very quickly and now almost off over the counter antacids .”
